Dr. Larry Hubbard
Dr. Hubbard was born and raised in Denver. He attended the University
of Wyoming where he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He was in a number of honoraries, including
Alpha Beta and Sigma Xi. He received his medical degree from the University of Colorado, where he also did his residency in
Family Medicine. Dr. Hubbard has been practicing at Hampden Medical Group since completing his residency in 1981.
He is board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians, is a Fellow
of the American Acadmey of Family Physicians. Dr. Hubbard is a Past President at Swedish Medical Center, and is the Past President-Elect
of the Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert Medical Society. He is also a member of the Colorado Medical Society and the Colorado
Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Hubbard is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado Health
Sciences Center, and was instrumental in creating the Family Medicine Residency at Swedish Medical Center.
Dr. Hubbard is married and has three children, with a growing number of
grandchildren. He enjoys fishing, hiking, wilderness medicine, and spending time in the mountains with his family.
