Dr.
Todd Avant
Dr. Avant was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and grew up there and
in Rochester, Minnesota. He attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and returned to Minnesota for medical school. He
received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in 1998, where he received Honors in his first
year. Residency brought him back to Colorado; his residency was completed at the Swedish Family Medicine Residency Program
at Swedish Medical Center. He was a Chief Resident in his final year, and it was in this program that he met Dr. Sever and
Dr. Hubbard.
Dr. Avant is board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians.
He joined Hampden Medical Group in September of 2005, and we are all happy to have him with us.
Dr. Avant is married to a native Coloradan and has 2 young daughters.
He enjoys skiing, hiking, and golf.
